Who We Are
We are Make Change Possible e.V., or MCP for short. We are a small, registered, charitable, non-governmental organization, running educational programmes in Mayana, Namibia. All of our members are volunteers.
We believe that change is possible through education:
lifelong learning and learning from life.
Our Programmes & Projects
MCP provides personal opportunities for people to meet as equal partners across nations and languages, to support the development of world citizenship at the grassroots level.
We work with the Mayana community year-round, supporting locals in running projects and programmes to improve education, nutrition, health, and business development aiming for sustainability and independence.
We offer project trips for students, as well as people of all ages and walks of life, to share their skills and knowledge with the local community.
“I thought I would come to Mayana to help the people and I leave having realized how much they have helped me.”

Our Approach: The House Model
Our educational efforts are organized in the house model:
Nutrition forms the foundation, as it provides sustainability and an empty stomach does not like to learn.
Health forms one wall, as it provides the ability to adapt to change and challenges throughout life.
Business development forms another wall, as it creates personal livelihoods and supports projects that support the whole community.
Education forms the roof under which everything comes together.
Independence, which identifies opportunities and creates value, is represented by the windows and door.
